Heather Nauert

 

Heather Ann Nauert was born on January 27 the year 1970. She is an American broadcast journalist, as well as an ex-official of the government. Heather served as Spokesperson of the United States Department of State under the Donald Trump administration. She is a senior fellow at the Hudson Institute, which is an think-tank for conservatives.



 



 Before her position at the Department of State she was an Fox News correspondent and news presenter. From March through October 2018, Nauert served as the Acting Under Secretary of State for Public Diplomacy as well as Public Affairs and Diplomacy in the Trump administration. Nauert was appointed by Trump to the J. William Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board as well as to the President's Commission on White House Fellowships in 2019.
